Nicole Martin Worldwide Financial Planning Adviser completed the Mawnan Smith 5K fun run with her brother Andrew on Sunday 27th September to raise money and awareness for Connect Cornwall.
They have raised over £400 for Connect Cornwall.
This is an especially huge achievement for Andrew - who suffered a brain stem stroke, 2nd stroke and cardiac arrest in 2007 and was unable to work or communicate for 4 months.
Andrew said;
“After having a stroke the people at Connect Cornwall helped me to recover, and are still helping me recover from my stroke.
Connect Cornwall is a Charity that supports people with Stroke and Aphasia by offering a number of services such as hospital and home befriending, interest groups, conversation groups, drop-in groups and counselling.”
